Choose and plan
How long will it take?
Most made-to-order products take approximately 10–14 weeks before shipping. Some propane and steel models may ship in as little as six weeks. Timing varies by model and season. Transit time is additional.
Confirm the current estimate for your selected feature when planning a project.
Which size, burner and ignition?
Begin with the space and the vessel size. The product options identify the matched burner and its input. Battery spark systems do not require site power. Electronic systems need the specified electrical supply.
For custom dimensions or a project price, share a drawing or a few details with our team.
How do I choose a finish?
Review a physical sample in the setting where the feature will be used. Screen colors are approximate. Powder-coat swatches are mailed directly by Prismatic and usually dispatch within a few days.
Do I need media or accessories?
Fire media is a paid option with no default selection. The quantities offered are matched to the opening. Use suitable media as directed by the burner manufacturer, whether purchased from us or another supplier.
Wind guards, lids, full tabletops and fabric covers add different benefits. They are optional and offered only for compatible models.

What should I give my qualified installer?
Share the Modofire product information sheet above. Include the instructions for the exact burner and ignition on your order.
Modofire supplies product information. Your qualified professionals plan and perform the installation. Request a verified dimensional drawing when utility entry locations are not shown. Representative 3D models are not fabrication drawings.
Where do the gas and electrical lines go?
Use a verified drawing for the selected model and size. Entry locations vary. Contact us before setting a stub, conduit or anchor if a confirmed location is not shown.
Your qualified professionals design and size the site services. The feature connection size does not determine the gas pipe size for the full run.
Does my ignition need site power?
Push-button spark and Mercury systems use batteries. Cobalt uses 12V power through a transformer connected to a suitable 120V supply. A Platinum package, where specified, uses 24V through its transformer.
Confirm the exact package and transformer location before electrical work.
Where are the manuals and CAD files?
Use the burner product page for any model-specific drawing. The manufacturer library provides installation manuals and CAD resources.
Choose the exact model. Custom drawings are supplied separately when available.
Receive and position
How is the feature delivered?
Most Modofire vessels ship by freight from Sanford, Florida. Supplier-direct components may ship separately from another origin.
Plan curbside access and a liftgate unless a suitable dock or forklift has been confirmed. Production time and carrier transit are separate.
What should I inspect on arrival?
Check the shipment and visible packaging before accepting delivery. Record any damage on the delivery receipt and take clear photos. Keep the packaging and contact Modofire promptly if anything appears damaged or missing.
How do we move it into position?
Use the approximate product weight and dimensions to plan the crew, route and handling equipment. Packaging weight is separate. Inspect the shipment before unpacking and protect finished surfaces while moving it.
Your installer should plan lifting points and any equipment needed for the actual model. Do not lift by the burner or loose accessories.
Start and use
How do I light it?
Follow the quick-start and lighting instructions supplied with the exact ignition. Controls differ between battery spark, Mercury and electronic systems.
If operation is unfamiliar or the system does not light normally, stop and consult the supplied troubleshooting instructions or your qualified installer.
How much media goes in the opening?
The product options show planning quantities for the selected opening. Lava stone and fire glass have different weights for the same volume. Quantities are rounded to the offered bag sizes.
Final media depth and placement must follow the supplied burner instructions.
What controls can I use?
Use the controls supplied or expressly specified for your ignition. Electronic packages can use compatible external switching as described in the manufacturer instructions.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth packages are not part of the current standard offering. Confirm any project automation requirement before ordering.
Care and support
How do I care for the finish?
Use mild soap, water and a soft cloth on powder-coated surfaces. Rinse and dry gently. Avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals. Remove salt and pool chemicals promptly.
Natural metals and specialty finishes have different care needs.
When should I use a lid or cover?
A lid protects the burner opening. A full tabletop provides a continuous surface and may come in sections. A fitted fabric cover helps protect the whole feature from weather and debris.
Allow the feature to cool completely before fitting any of these accessories.
What is covered by the warranty?
Vessel and finish coverage are separate from warranties for burners, ignitions and other components. Review the applicable terms and supplied manufacturer documents.
For support, include your order number, model and clear photos. Add a short description of what is happening.
What about winter and water features?
Inspect the feature before seasonal use. Keep drainage and ventilation clear. Water components may need draining or winterization before freezing conditions.
