Streamlined Shipping Process
At Modofire, we prioritize efficient and transparent shipping to ensure your products arrive safely and on time.
Efficient Shipping:
- Made-to-Order: Most of our products are made-to-order and typically ship directly from the manufacturer within 6-8 weeks. Some items may ship sooner if they are ready before the estimated lead time. Check individual product pages for specific lead times.
- Stocked Items: In-stock items are eligible for faster delivery, as noted on product pages.
Standard Ground Shipping:
- For items under 150 lbs: We ship via FedEx, UPS, or USPS.
- Damage Reporting: If your item arrives damaged, please take photos and report it to us immediately for a resolution.
Standard Freight Shipping:
- For items over 150 lbs: Products are shipped via freight and delivered curbside with lift gate assistance. Our shipping partner will contact you to schedule delivery.
- Inspection upon Delivery: Please inspect items immediately upon delivery. Any damage should be noted on the delivery receipt and reported to us within 48 hours to avoid liability issues.
Flexible Shipping Options:
- Orders under $150: Flat rate shipping of $9.95 within the contiguous 48 states.
- Orders over $150: Free standard shipping within the contiguous 48 states.
- Expedited Shipping: Available upon request. Please contact our Sales Representatives for details and costs.
International Shipping:
- Free shipping does not apply to international orders. Please contact our Sales Representatives for shipping costs and specific destinations.
- International Returns: Handled on a case-by-case basis.
Return Policy Summary:
- Returns are accepted within 30 days for non-custom, unused items in their original packaging. Refunds exclude original and return shipping costs unless the error is on our part.
- A 12% restocking fee applies to all returns of non-custom items.
- Custom or Made-to-Order products are non-returnable and this will be clearly noted on the product pages.
- For defective or damaged products, we will explore repair options first. If a repair is not feasible, we will arrange a replacement. Photos of securely packaged items must be provided for freight returns.
Important Considerations:
- Large products (250-1500 lbs) may require crating, tailgate lift, or a forklift for delivery.
- Shipping costs for larger products can be high; plan accordingly.
- Curbside Delivery: All deliveries are curbside. Customers are responsible for moving the product from the curb to its final location.
- Measure Spaces: Ensure that your space is measured and free of obstacles to accommodate the delivery.
- Truck Access: Ensure that the delivery location is accessible by large trucks. Please plan for potential constraints.
- Heavy Items: We recommend hiring professional movers for heavy items.
