Shipping Policy

Made to Order: Most Modofire products are custom built to order and typically ship within approximately 10 to 12 weeks unless otherwise noted. Lead times are estimates only and may vary based on production schedules, material availability, customization, inspections, weather, holidays, and other factors beyond our control.

Stocked Items: Select products, accessories, and components may be available for expedited shipment when identified on the product page.

Shipping Methods: Smaller products typically ship via UPS, FedEx, USPS, or similar carriers. Larger fire pits, fire tables, and custom fabrications generally ship by freight carrier. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or quoted separately based on product size, weight, destination, and delivery requirements.

Freight Deliveries: Freight shipments are typically curbside and may include liftgate service when appropriate. Delivery methods and services vary by carrier, destination, and shipment type. Carriers commonly contact customers directly to schedule delivery appointments.

Site Access & Unloading: Customers are responsible for verifying site accessibility and arranging any labor, equipment, forklifts, cranes, permits, or other resources required for unloading, moving, storage, assembly, or installation. Placement beyond the carrier's standard delivery service is not included unless specifically agreed to in writing.

Inspection Upon Delivery: All shipments should be inspected upon arrival and before acceptance whenever possible. Any visible damage, shortages, or concerns should be noted on the carrier's delivery receipt at the time of delivery and photographed. Modofire should be notified promptly so that available claim procedures may be evaluated.

Transit & Delivery: Title, risk of loss, transit times, delivery dates, and transportation services are subject to the carrier's terms and conditions. Modofire is not responsible for delays, storage fees, accessorial charges, missed appointments, weather events, carrier performance, site conditions, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Installation Scheduling: Do not schedule contractors, installers, equipment rentals, inspections, or related services until the product has been delivered and inspected. Modofire is not responsible for costs associated with scheduling changes, delays, rescheduling fees, or project interruptions.

Returns: Standard non-custom products may be eligible for return within 30 days of delivery if unused and in original packaging, subject to approval. Original shipping charges are non-refundable, return shipping is the responsibility of the customer, and a restocking fee may apply. Custom, made to order, modified, or specialty finish products are generally non-cancelable and non-returnable once production has begun.

Shipping Damage & Defects: Shipping damage, shortages, and product concerns are handled on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable carrier procedures, manufacturer policies, and warranty terms. Prompt inspection and reporting are required to preserve available remedies.
