Warranty & Coverage

Each Modofire fire feature is made to order and may combine a custom-fabricated vessel with components from several manufacturers. For that reason, the vessel and finish have separate coverage from the burner, ignition system, and controls.

Modofire warrants the fire vessel, enclosure, fire table, or sculpture it supplies to the original purchaser against defects in materials and fabrication for one year from delivery. Powder-coated finishes are covered for one year from delivery against defects in application or adhesion, including premature peeling or blistering.

Burners, ignition systems, controls, and other third-party components are covered under the applicable manufacturer’s warranty for the specific component. Terms vary by manufacturer and model. Modofire will help identify the component, coordinate a claim, and connect the purchaser or their qualified service professional with manufacturer technical support.

Installation, gas and electrical connections, startup, maintenance, and on-site service are the responsibility of qualified local professionals. Before regular use, approved fire media must be installed in the burner pan according to the burner manufacturer’s instructions. Pilot openings, drainage, and enclosure ventilation must remain clear. Qualified installers may operate the system without media when necessary for commissioning and testing.

This warranty does not cover normal wear; patina, fading, heat discoloration, surface rust, or other expected cosmetic changes; scratches or chips caused during handling or installation; or damage caused by improper installation, incorrect media placement, overheating, blocked ventilation or drainage, standing water, misuse, modification, or inadequate maintenance. Powder-coated surfaces should be cleaned with mild detergent and a soft cloth, rinsed, and kept free of accumulated salt and chemical deposits. Abrasive cleaners and harsh solvents should not be used.

To make a claim, contact Modofire with proof of purchase, photographs, and a description of the issue before returning any part. Modofire will repair or replace a covered vessel or finish defect at its discretion. Third-party component claims follow the manufacturer’s warranty process. Removal, reinstallation, on-site labor, freight, and related costs are not covered.
