Start Your Project
Choose how you’d like to begin. Most projects start with an existing design and are refined from there.
Form
Shape and Space
Form defines the overall shape of the fire feature and how it sits within a space. Modofire develops custom forms based on the surrounding environment, the client’s style and goals, and our design expertise to create visually balanced and appropriate to their setting.
- Simple to highly complex shapes
- Small to large-scale features
- Single or multi-purpose use
Function
Performance and Reliability
Every custom piece is engineered around controlled flame behavior, heat management, service access, and long-term reliability. We specify burner systems, gas type, ignition, ventilation, and internal construction based on how the feature will be used and maintained.
- Reliable performance in outdoor environments
- Compatibility with gas type, ignition, and controls
- Designed for long-term use and serviceability
Finish
Materials and Finishes
Modofire primarily uses powder-coated marine-grade aluminum for durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term outdoor fire performance. Concrete, stone, topcoat patinas and select metals are alsoincorporated where additional mass, texture, or contrast is desired.
- Powder-coated aluminum and metals
- Layered patina and specialty surface treatments
- Concrete, stone, and mixed-material applications
