Routine cleaning and seasonal inspection help preserve the finish and reliable operation. Let the feature cool completely. Turn off the gas and disconnect electrical power as directed before maintenance.

Powder-coated surfaces

Wash with mild soap, water and a soft cloth. Rinse and dry gently. Avoid abrasives, solvents, bleach and pressure washing. Remove salt and pool chemicals promptly. Clean more often in coastal or poolside settings.

Natural metals and specialty finishes

Copper and weathering steel develop a changing patina. Their appearance will evolve outdoors. Follow the care guidance for the supplied finish. Contact us before applying a polish, sealer or coating.

Burner and ignition

Keep the opening clear of leaves and debris. Check the burner and ignition before seasonal use. Follow the manufacturer's cleaning instructions. Do not drill, modify or alter the supplied burner. Have damaged connections or ignition components serviced by a qualified professional.

Media and accessories

Use approved fire media in the depth and arrangement specified for the burner. Fit lids, full tabletops and fabric covers only after the feature has cooled completely. Keep drainage and ventilation paths clear.

Water features and winter care

Maintain pumps, lighting and water systems according to their supplied instructions. Drain or winterize water components where freezing conditions require it. Water-feature care depends on the selected equipment and local conditions.
