Electronic Ignition: Available for residential and commercial applications. Rechargeable battery powered options are available where line voltage is unavailable or difficult to access.

Customization: Burner type, ignition system, controls, and internal components may vary based on size, shape, fuel type, and selected options.

Shipping Note: To help prevent transit damage, certain items such as fire media, electronic components, wind guards, lids, covers, emergency stops, timer switches, or other accessories may be packaged separately within the shipment or shipped in separate boxes.

Ignition Options

Push Button Spark: Standard on all Modofire fire tables, fire pits, and sculptures. Lights using a push button spark igniter or match. Flame height is manually adjusted using the key valve. No electrical power required.

All Weather Electronic: Fully automatic ignition system with flame sensing, automatic relight, and gas safety shutoff. Designed for dependable operation in outdoor environments, including installations near pools, spas, fountains, and water features. Compatible with wall switches, timers, remotes, Bluetooth, WiFi, smart home systems, and building automation.

Fire Media Options

Fire Glass: Contemporary appearance with reflective surfaces that enhance flame visibility and color.

Lava Rock: Traditional volcanic rock offering a natural appearance and excellent heat resistance.

Rolled Lava Stones: Larger hand selected stones that create a more sculptural and organic presentation with greater flame visibility.

Choosing Fire Media

Fire Glass: Best for modern designs and a clean architectural appearance.

Rolled Lava Stones: Premium upgrade offering a more organic, upscale appearance with less visual density around the flame.

Media Guidelines

Most installations use approximately 2" to 3" of media depth above the burner surface. Larger fire features and linear burners may require additional media depending on burner size, opening dimensions, and desired appearance.

Final media selection and quantity are largely based on personal preference. Please refer to individual media product listings for available colors, sizes, and coverage recommendations.

Shipping & Lead Time

Lead Time: Most products are made to order. Lead times vary by product, finish, and burner system and are provided as estimates only. Transit time begins once the order ships.

Shipping Method: Products ship from Modofire or our domestic fabrication partners. Shipping method and cost are based on product size, weight, destination, and delivery requirements.

Delivery Type: Smaller items ship via standard ground carriers. Larger fire pits, fire tables, and custom fabrications ship crated by freight with scheduled curbside liftgate delivery. Placement, uncrating, assembly, and installation are not included.

Inspection: Customers are responsible for ensuring site access and inspecting deliveries upon arrival. Any visible damage must be noted on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing.

Installation Timing: Installation should be scheduled only after shipment confirmation is received.

Important: Modofire is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, permitting, site conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

Warranty & Coverage

Warranty coverage is divided between the fire vessel and the burner and control components.

Fire Vessel and Enclosure
5 year limited warranty covering structural defects in materials and workmanship under normal outdoor use. Surface finishes, patina, and cosmetic changes are not considered structural and are excluded.

Burners and Components
Burners in stainless steel or brass carry a lifetime warranty. Electronics and gas valves are covered for 3 years residential and 1 year commercial. Pilot assemblies are covered for 2 years residential and 1 year commercial. Stainless steel burner pans and valve boxes are covered for 5 years residential and 1 year commercial.

Terms and Exclusions
Warranty begins at shipment and covers replacement parts and factory repair labor only. Installation, removal, freight, and on site labor are excluded. Normal wear, finish variation, heat discoloration, misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, and indirect damages are not covered.

Returns and Cancellations

Most Modofire products are custom made to order and fabricated specifically for each project.

Cancellations
Orders cancelled within 72 hours receive a full refund. Cancellations after 72 hours and before production are subject to a 3 percent fee. Once production or shipping begins, orders cannot be cancelled.

Returns
Custom and made to order products are not eligible for return. This includes fire pits, fire tables, bowls, planters, sculptures, and all fabricated aluminum, steel, or concrete products.

Standard Items
Eligible standard items must be unused, in original packaging, and returned within 30 days of delivery with prior authorization. A 12 percent restocking fee applies and return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Refunds are issued after inspection.

Finish Variations
Minor variations in color, texture, or finish are inherent to the fabrication process and are not considered defects.

Exceptions
If Modofire is unable to fulfill an order due to production or material constraints, a full refund will be issued.

Maintenance and Care
Aluminum Powder Coated Fire Tables

Modofire aluminum fire tables are engineered for long term outdoor use with minimal maintenance. Proper care helps preserve appearance, performance, and safety.

Aluminum Powder Coated Surfaces
Clean periodically using mild soap and clean water with a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, solvents, citrus cleaners, bleach, or acidic or alkaline cleaners. Do not pressure wash at close range. In coastal or high dust environments, more frequent cleaning is recommended.

Burner System Care
Burners are fabricated from stainless steel or brass and are designed for outdoor exposure. Periodically inspect the burner ports to ensure they are clear of debris, leaves, insects, or fire media dust. If buildup is present, gently brush or blow out ports with compressed air. Do not enlarge burner holes or modify the burner in any way.

Fire media should be arranged loosely and evenly to allow proper airflow. Avoid overfilling or compacting media, as this can affect flame performance.

Ignition Systems
Electronic Ignition
Electronic ignition systems should be kept dry and free of standing water. Inspect wiring, connections, and components periodically to ensure they remain secure and undamaged. If the unit is exposed to heavy rain or moisture, allow components to fully dry before operation. Replace batteries if applicable and follow ignition manufacturer recommendations for seasonal checks.

Manual Ignition
Manual systems require minimal maintenance. Periodically inspect valves and fittings for proper operation and ensure controls remain clean and unobstructed.

Covers and Lids
Using a lid or protective cover when the fire table is not in use is strongly recommended. Covers help reduce debris buildup, protect finishes, and extend the life of burners and ignition components. Ensure the unit is fully cooled before placing a lid or cover. Remove standing water from covers to prevent moisture accumulation.

General Use Guidelines
Operate the fire table only as intended and in accordance with local codes and manufacturer instructions. Do not use the unit as a heat source for enclosed spaces or for cooking unless specifically designed for that purpose. Avoid placing heavy objects on the surface or lid.

Seasonal and Long Term Care
Before extended periods of non use, clean the unit, inspect the burner and ignition system, and install a cover. At the start of each season, perform a visual inspection and test operation before regular use.

Gas & Electrical Requirements

To help ensure proper performance, your fire feature will require an adequate gas supply and, depending on the ignition option selected, may require electrical power.

Gas Supply Requirements

Available for Natural Gas (NG) or Liquid Propane (LP). Most installations connect to an existing gas line or an external propane tank.

Most residential fire features operate between 90k and 300k BTU. Larger fire tables and commercial installations may require 300k BTU to 600k+ BTU.

As burner size increases, larger gas lines and sufficient gas supply become increasingly important.
