A 12V electronic ignition with flame sensing and automatic relighting. The supplied transformer connects to a suitable 120V electrical supply. Use a compatible external switch or control. Available for compatible configurations up to 490,000 BTU.
Higher-capacity configurations
A Platinum 24V package may be specified where offered for a higher-capacity burner. Its transformer also requires a suitable 120V supply. Confirm the exact package before planning electrical work.

Shipping & Lead Time
Lead times. Most Modofire products are made to order. Quoted production and shipping dates are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. Lead times vary with the design, finish, components, and fabrication schedule. We will communicate material changes to the expected shipping schedule. Transit time begins when the carrier receives the shipment.
Shipping and delivery. Products ship from Modofire or our domestic fabrication partners. Shipping method and cost depend on the size, weight, destination, and delivery requirements of the order. Smaller items generally ship by parcel carrier. Large or custom pieces generally ship crated by freight for curbside delivery, with a liftgate when included in the shipping arrangement. Delivery does not include placement, uncrating, assembly, gas or electrical connections, or installation.
Site readiness. The customer is responsible for providing an accurate delivery address, suitable carrier access, and people and equipment needed to receive and move the product from the delivery point. Storage, redelivery, or special-handling charges caused by unavailable access or a missed delivery appointment are the customer’s responsibility. Schedule installation only after shipment has been confirmed and the product has been received and inspected.
Delivery inspection. Inspect the crate and packaging before signing. Note any visible damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt, take photographs, and contact Modofire promptly. If damage is discovered after uncrating, retain the packaging and contact us with photographs as soon as possible, preferably within 48 hours. We will help review the issue and coordinate the appropriate freight claim or resolution.
Delays and related costs. Modofire is not responsible for carrier delays, weather, permitting, site conditions, or other circumstances outside its control. To the extent permitted by law, Modofire is not responsible for costs arising from a delayed delivery, including scheduled installers, equipment, travel, or lost use.
Warranty & Coverage
Each Modofire fire feature is made to order. We stand behind the quality of its materials, fabrication and finish.
Modofire covers the vessel, enclosure, fire table or sculpture against defects in materials and fabrication for five years from delivery. Powder-coated finishes are covered for five years from delivery against premature peeling or blistering caused by application or adhesion defects. This coverage applies to the original purchaser.
Burners carry a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty, subject to the manufacturer’s terms. Lifetime coverage applies only to the burner. Ignition systems, controls and other components carry separate manufacturer warranties. Modofire will help coordinate claims and connect you or your service professional with technical support.
Installation, gas and electrical connections, startup and service must be handled by qualified local professionals. Approved fire media must be installed before regular use according to the burner manufacturer’s instructions. Keep pilot openings, drainage and ventilation clear. Qualified installers may test the system without media when permitted by the manufacturer.
Modofire’s warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear or expected cosmetic changes such as patina, fading, heat discoloration or surface rust.
- Scratches or chips caused during handling or installation.
- Damage from improper installation, incorrect media placement or overheating.
- Damage from blocked ventilation or drainage, standing water, misuse, modification or inadequate maintenance.
Clean powder-coated surfaces with mild detergent and a soft cloth. Rinse thoroughly and remove salt or chemical buildup. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh solvents.
To make a claim, contact Modofire with proof of purchase, photographs and a description of the issue before returning any part. Modofire will repair or replace covered vessel or finish defects at its discretion. Removal, reinstallation, on-site labor, freight and related costs are not covered by Modofire’s warranty. Component claims follow the applicable manufacturer’s warranty terms and process.
Returns & Cancellations
Most Modofire products are made to order for a specific project. These terms reflect the work and materials committed to each order.
Cancellations. Orders may be cancelled for a full refund before project-specific design begins, materials are purchased or fabrication starts. After design work begins or materials are purchased, cancellation requires Modofire’s approval. Any refund will be reduced by costs already incurred. Once fabrication begins, made-to-order products cannot be cancelled except as required by law.
Made-to-order products. Custom-fabricated fire tables, fire features, vessels, planters and sculptures are not eligible for return after delivery.
Burners and technical components. Burners, ignition systems, controls and other project-specified components cannot be returned due to a change of mind. Installed components are not eligible for return. Defective components are handled under the applicable manufacturer’s warranty. Incorrect components are handled under the order terms.
Standard accessories. Eligible non-fabricated accessories may be returned within 30 days of delivery with prior authorization. Items must be unused and uninstalled in their original packaging. A 12% restocking fee and return shipping costs may apply. Refunds are issued after receipt and inspection.
Finish variations. Natural variations in color, texture and patina are characteristics of the materials and finishes. These variations alone are not defects.
Problems with an order. Contact Modofire before returning any damaged, incorrect or potentially defective item. We will review the issue under the applicable order terms or our Warranty & Coverage policy. If Modofire cannot fulfill an order, we will issue a full refund.
Maintenance and care
Routine cleaning and seasonal inspection help preserve the finish and reliable operation. Let the feature cool completely. Turn off the gas and disconnect electrical power as directed before maintenance.
Powder-coated surfaces
Wash with mild soap, water and a soft cloth. Rinse and dry gently. Avoid abrasives, solvents, bleach and pressure washing. Remove salt and pool chemicals promptly. Clean more often in coastal or poolside settings.
Natural metals and specialty finishes
Copper and weathering steel develop a changing patina. Their appearance will evolve outdoors. Follow the care guidance for the supplied finish. Contact us before applying a polish, sealer or coating.
Burner and ignition
Keep the opening clear of leaves and debris. Check the burner and ignition before seasonal use. Follow the manufacturer's cleaning instructions. Do not drill, modify or alter the supplied burner. Have damaged connections or ignition components serviced by a qualified professional.
Media and accessories
Use approved fire media in the depth and arrangement specified for the burner. Fit lids, full tabletops and fabric covers only after the feature has cooled completely. Keep drainage and ventilation paths clear.
Water features and winter care
Maintain pumps, lighting and water systems according to their supplied instructions. Drain or winterize water components where freezing conditions require it. Water-feature care depends on the selected equipment and local conditions.
Warning: Fire sculptures can become extremely hot and should be positioned where the metal cannot be touched. Lower BTUs, elevated flame placement, ethanol fuel, and internal heat shields are available for added safety. Contact us for options.
