Ignition Options
Every Modofire fire feature is available with one of three ignition systems. The right choice depends on your desired level of convenience, safety, and automation.

Delivery Type: Smaller items ship via standard ground carriers. Larger fire pits, fire tables, and custom fabrications ship crated by freight with scheduled curbside liftgate delivery. Placement, uncrating, assembly, and installation are not included.

Warranty & Coverage

Fire Vessel and Enclosure
5 year limited warranty covering structural defects in materials and workmanship under normal outdoor use. Surface finishes, patina, and cosmetic changes are not considered structural and are excluded.
Burners and Components
Burners in stainless steel or brass carry a lifetime warranty. Electronics and gas valves are covered for 3 years residential and 1 year commercial. Pilot assemblies are covered for 2 years residential and 1 year commercial. Stainless steel burner pans and valve boxes are covered for 5 years residential and 1 year commercial.
Terms and Exclusions
Warranty begins at shipment and covers replacement parts and factory repair labor only. Installation, removal, freight, and on site labor are excluded. Normal wear, finish variation, heat discoloration, misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modifications, and indirect damages are not covered.
Returns and Cancellations
Most Modofire products are custom made to order and fabricated specifically for each project.
Cancellations
Orders cancelled within 72 hours receive a full refund. Cancellations after 72 hours and before production are subject to a 3 percent fee. Once production or shipping begins, orders cannot be cancelled.
Returns
Custom and made to order products are not eligible for return. This includes fire pits, fire tables, bowls, planters, sculptures, and all fabricated aluminum, steel, or concrete products.
Standard Items
Eligible standard items must be unused, in original packaging, and returned within 30 days of delivery with prior authorization. A 12 percent restocking fee applies and return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Refunds are issued after inspection.
Finish Variations
Minor variations in color, texture, or finish are inherent to the fabrication process and are not considered defects.
Exceptions
If Modofire is unable to fulfill an order due to production or material constraints, a full refund will be issued.

Aluminum Powder Coated Fire Tables
Modofire aluminum fire tables are engineered for long term outdoor use with minimal maintenance. Proper care helps preserve appearance, performance, safety, and the overall finish of your fire feature.
Aluminum Powder Coated Surfaces
Clean periodically using mild soap and clean water with a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly and allow the surface to dry. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, solvents, citrus cleaners, bleach, or acidic or alkaline cleaners. Do not pressure wash at close range. In coastal, poolside, or high dust environments, more frequent cleaning is recommended to help preserve the finish.
Burner System Care
Burners are manufactured from either stainless steel or solid brass and are designed for long term outdoor exposure. Periodically inspect burner ports to ensure they remain free of leaves, insects, debris, and fire media dust. If buildup is present, gently brush or blow out the ports using compressed air. Do not enlarge burner ports or modify the burner in any way.
Fire media should be installed loosely and evenly to promote proper airflow and flame performance. Avoid overfilling or compacting fire media, as this may affect ignition, flame appearance, or burner performance.
Ignition Systems
Electronic Ignition
Electronic ignition systems should be kept dry and free of standing water. Periodically inspect wiring, electrical connections, ignition components, and control modules to ensure they remain secure and undamaged. If the unit is exposed to excessive moisture, allow all components to dry completely before operation. Recharge or replace batteries where applicable and follow the ignition manufacturer's recommendations for routine inspection and seasonal maintenance.
Electronic Ignition with Flame Sense
Electronic ignition systems with flame sense require the same routine care as standard electronic ignition systems, with additional attention given to the pilot assembly and flame sensing components. Periodically inspect the pilot burner, flame sensor, ignition electrode, wiring, and electrical connections to ensure they remain clean, properly aligned, and free of corrosion, insects, spider webs, leaves, and fire media dust. Finish Variations
Minor variations in color, texture, or finish are inherent to the fabrication process and are not considered defects.
Exceptions
If Modofire is unable to fulfill an order due to production or material constraints, a full refund will be issued.

Aluminum Powder Coated Fire Tables
Modofire aluminum fire tables are engineered for long term outdoor use with minimal maintenance. Proper care helps preserve appearance, performance, safety, and the overall finish of your fire feature.
Aluminum Powder Coated Surfaces
Clean periodically using mild soap and clean water with a soft cloth or sponge. Rinse thoroughly and allow the surface to dry. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals, solvents, citrus cleaners, bleach, or acidic or alkaline cleaners. Do not pressure wash at close range. In coastal, poolside, or high dust environments, more frequent cleaning is recommended to help preserve the finish.
Burner System Care
Burners are manufactured from either stainless steel or solid brass and are designed for long term outdoor exposure. Periodically inspect burner ports to ensure they remain free of leaves, insects, debris, and fire media dust. If buildup is present, gently brush or blow out the ports using compressed air. Do not enlarge burner ports or modify the burner in any way.
Fire media should be installed loosely and evenly to promote proper airflow and flame performance. Avoid overfilling or compacting fire media, as this may affect ignition, flame appearance, or burner performance.
Ignition Systems
Electronic Ignition
Electronic ignition systems should be kept dry and free of standing water. Periodically inspect wiring, electrical connections, ignition components, and control modules to ensure they remain secure and undamaged. If the unit is exposed to excessive moisture, allow all components to dry completely before operation. Recharge or replace batteries where applicable and follow the ignition manufacturer's recommendations for routine inspection and seasonal maintenance.
Electronic Ignition with Flame Sense
Electronic ignition systems with flame sense require the same routine care as standard electronic ignition systems, with additional attention given to the pilot assembly and flame sensing components. Periodically inspect the pilot burner, flame sensor, ignition electrode, wiring, and electrical connections to ensure they remain clean, properly aligned, and free of corrosion, insects, spider webs, leaves, and fire media dust. Obstructions around the pilot assembly can affect ignition and flame sensing performance. If exposed to excessive moisture, allow all components to dry completely before operation. Periodically verify proper ignition, flame sensing, and automatic gas shutoff operation in accordance with the ignition manufacturer's recommendations.
Manual Ignition
Manual ignition systems require minimal maintenance. Periodically inspect the key valve, gas connections, flexible gas lines, and fittings to ensure they remain secure and operate properly. Keep controls clean and unobstructed.
Covers and Lids
Using a lid or protective cover whenever the fire table is not in use is strongly recommended. Covers help reduce debris buildup, protect the powder coated finish, and extend the service life of burners and ignition components. Always allow the fire feature to cool completely before installing a lid or cover. Remove standing water from covers before use to help prevent excess moisture from entering the burner area.
General Use Guidelines
Operate the fire table only as intended and in accordance with all applicable local codes and manufacturer instructions. Never operate the fire feature with blocked ventilation or obstructed burner ports. Do not use the fire table as a heat source for enclosed spaces or for cooking unless specifically designed for that purpose. Avoid placing excessive weight or heavy objects on the fire table, lid, or burner area.
Seasonal and Long Term Care
Before extended periods of non use, clean the fire table, inspect the burner, gas connections, and ignition system, then install a protective cover. At the beginning of each season, perform a complete visual inspection and test the ignition system before regular operation. Gas & Electrical Requirements
To help ensure proper performance, your fire feature will require an adequate gas supply and, depending on the ignition option selected, may require electrical power.
Gas Supply Requirements
Available for Natural Gas (NG) or Liquid Propane (LP). Most installations connect to an existing gas line or an external propane tank.
Most residential fire features operate between 90k and 300k BTU. Larger fire tables and commercial installations may require 300k BTU to 600k+ BTU.
As burner size increases, larger gas lines and sufficient gas supply become increasingly important.
