Shipping & Lead Time
Lead Time: Most products are made to order. Lead times vary by product, finish, and burner system and are provided as estimates only. Transit time begins once the order ships.
Shipping Method: Products ship from Modofire or our domestic fabrication partners. Shipping method and cost are based on product size, weight, destination, and delivery requirements.
Delivery Type: Smaller items ship via standard ground carriers. Larger fire pits, fire tables, and custom fabrications ship crated by freight with scheduled curbside liftgate delivery. Placement, uncrating, assembly, and installation are not included.
Inspection: Customers are responsible for ensuring site access and inspecting deliveries upon arrival. Any visible damage must be noted on the carrier's delivery receipt before signing.
Installation Timing: Installation should be scheduled only after shipment confirmation is received.
Important: Modofire is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, permitting, site conditions, or other factors beyond our control.
Warranty & Coverage
- Fire vessel and enclosure: 5 years
- Ignition and control components: 1 year, manufacturer backed
- Burners: manufacturer coverage may extend up to lifetime
- Finishes and cosmetic changes: not covered under normal wear, patina, or discoloration
Modofire provides a 5 year limited warranty against structural defects in the fire vessel and enclosure under normal outdoor use. Finish wear, patina, discoloration and other cosmetic changes are excluded.
Burner, ignition and control components are generally covered for 1 year from shipment unless a longer manufacturer warranty applies. Certain Warming Trends and HPC burners, for example, may carry lifetime manufacturer coverage.
Electronic ignition warranty claims and returns are coordinated through Modofire in partnership with the manufacturer. We will assist with warranty processing and facilitate access to manufacturer technical support when needed.
Warranty coverage is limited to replacement parts and factory repair. Installation, removal, freight, on site labor, misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modification and consequential damages are excluded. Manufacturer warranties remain subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
Returns
Returns and Cancellations
Most Modofire products are made to order and fabricated specifically for each project. Production and delivery timelines are estimates and may vary. Changes in timing or delivery dates are not grounds for cancellation, return or refund.
Cancellations
Orders cancelled within 72 hours receive a full refund. After 72 hours, cancellations approved before production begins are subject to a 3% cancellation fee. Once production begins, orders cannot be cancelled.
Made-to-Order Products
Made-to-order and custom fabricated products are not returnable. This includes fire tables, fire features, planters, sculptures and other fabricated products.
Standard Components and Accessories
Eligible non-fabricated items may be returned within 30 days with prior authorization. Items must be unused and in original packaging. A 12% restocking fee and return shipping costs may apply. Refunds are issued after inspection.
Finish Variations
Natural variations in color, texture, patina and finish are inherent to many materials and finishing processes and are not considered defects.
Exceptions
If Modofire is unable to fulfill an order due to production or material constraints, a full refund will be issued.
Maintenance & Care
Modofire powder coated aluminum fire tables are built for long-term outdoor use and require only routine maintenance.
Clean Surfaces
Wash with mild soap and water using a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, bleach, and pressure washing. In coastal or poolside environments, clean more frequently to preserve the finish.
Burner Care
Keep burner ports free of leaves, insects, debris, and fire media dust. Clean gently with a soft brush or compressed air. Do not modify the burner. Install fire media loosely and evenly for proper flame performance.
Ignition Systems
Periodically inspect gas connections, wiring, controls, and ignition components. Keep electronic systems dry and allow them to dry completely if exposed to moisture. Test operation regularly and follow the ignition manufacturer's maintenance recommendations.
Covers & Lids
Always allow the fire table to cool before installing a lid or cover. Keeping the unit covered when not in use helps protect the finish and extends the life of the burner and ignition system.
Seasonal Inspection
Before each season and after extended storage, inspect the burner, gas connections, and ignition system. Replace worn components as needed and consult a qualified professional for service.
With routine cleaning and periodic inspections, your Modofire fire table will provide years of dependable performance and lasting beauty.
Gas & Electrical Requirements
To help ensure proper performance, your fire feature will require an adequate gas supply and, depending on the ignition option selected, may require electrical power.
Gas Supply Requirements
Available for Natural Gas (NG) or Liquid Propane (LP). Most installations connect to an existing gas line or an external propane tank.
Most residential fire features operate between 90k and 300k BTU. Larger fire tables and commercial installations may require 300k BTU to 600k+ BTU.
As burner size increases, larger gas lines and sufficient gas supply become increasingly important.
